Project stages “painting” as a procedure rather than an object. Freely suspended textiles hold only as long as the arrangement remains undisturbed. Any transport or draft collapses it, requiring full re-creation from a score of install notes and diagrams. This makes the setup and repetition the medium. Authorship shifts from image to protocol: each iteration is the same work only insofar as the procedure is performed, exposing painting as a conditional state rather than a stable thing.
