“Bed and Breakfast” is an operational model of upkeep. Pressurized balloons present as stable but survive only under ongoing maintenance—topping up, rebalancing, replacing—because pressure loss is continuous.
Shaped by my own experience of surviving a collapse of a soviet political ideology, I read this work as a lived diagram of structures that look solid, but are alive only while leaking, sagging, and demanding care: a system that exists only by dying. Order is a dependency; decay sets duration.
